Open-Source TEM, STEM, 4D-STEM, and Cryo-EM Software Ecosystem
Hummingbird Scientific products are designed to work within the broader electron microscopy software ecosystem. The following open-source and community-supported tools are widely used by researchers for microscope control, automation, image processing, tomography, spectroscopy, simulation, and data analysis.
Hummingbird Scientific supports open and extensible software ecosystems. Our hardware platforms can integrate with Python-based workflows and are compatible with leading community-supported analysis environments including HyperSpy, py4DSTEM, LiberTEM, pyXem, Tomviz, IMOD, Fiji, Napari, abTEM, RELION, Scipion, and other HDF5/Zarr-based scientific data pipelines.
Hummingbird Scientific does not require researchers to use these tools, and inclusion does not imply official support or integration unless explicitly stated. These resources are provided to help researchers build open, flexible microscopy workflows around their own preferred software environments.
